In this section you will find links to download the .alz files for global layers at 1×1 (30 arc-seconds) and 5×5 (2.5 arc-minutes) resolutions.
For 1×1 km resolution user can either download the complete set of layers (103 variables) in a single file which is more than 105 Gb (zipped) or more than 600 Gb unzipped, or (the most recommended option) download only the target ecogeographical variables to be used in CAPFITOGEN tools (i.e. ELCmapas, ECOGEO, ColNucleo, DIVmapas or FIGS_R). The size of each variable (at 1×1 km resolution) range between 200 and 800 Mb in zipped files (6 Gb unzipped).
For 5×5 km resolution users can downlaod and install (locate the unzipped files in the “rdatamaps” folder) the total 103 variables in a single process, in a very similar way as for 10×10 and 20×20 resolutions (see “Download from internet” section, paragraph 4th). The file which contains all 5×5 km layers is called “world.alz” and its size is about 1 Gb (zipped) or 23 Gb unzipped.
Please click here to download 1×1 km individual variables (individual files) for global coverage (names of variables correspond to codes described in the user manual).
Please click here to download the complete 1×1 km set of (103) variables (global coverage, single file).
Please click here to download the complete 5×5 km set of (103) variables (global coverage, single file).
Please click here to download the complete 10×10 and 20×20 km set of (103) variables (global coverage, single file).
We do not recommend the direct use of 1×1 and 5×5 resolutions at global level (coverage) in tools such as ELC mapas. It is required (as a previous step) this layers should be cropped according to the extent of your species distribution with the help of rLayer tool.
