A new type of characterization in the field of plant genetic resources

This tool produces ecogeographical characterizations of the germplasm collection sites, extracting up to 105 bioclimatic, geophysical and edaphic variables for each site. With ECOGEO is possible to extract information using radial or point extractions (over an area around the coordinates of the collection site).

Also ECOGEO allows multivariate analysis (clustering and sorting) with extracted variables, similarly as it has been done with phenotypic or genotypic characterization data.
